LE@D library courses have been approved for credit toward the Western Council of State Libraries Library Practitioner Certification Program.

Certified Public Library Administrator
CPLA

LE@D offers three courses that have been approved by the American Library Association for credit toward their Certified Public Library Administrator Program. These courses include eight weeks of course work and require completing assignements and involvement in online discussions.

New classes begin in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Registration is currently open for August 2008 enrollment.

Continuing Education Credits

Many state library associations recognize LE@D tutorials for Continuing Education credits. Each course is typically credited at 3 CEU credits or 3 contact hours. Credits may vary by state.
