WHO GOES TO EAGLE CAMP?
Eagle Camp is for new students who will be attending UNT in the fall semester. This includes both Freshman AND Transfer students! There are also student leaders, faculty volunteers, and staff present at Eagle Camp. Also, Eagle Camp is for all types of people. We have activities that cater to different personality types and work on team-building and making connections, so don't miss out!

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND EAGLE CAMP?
You get a head-start on meeting new people, making friends, and becoming a part of the North Texas family by attending Eagle Camp. You will walk away with confidence, knowing you have something in common with 450 fellow incoming students, as well as feeling connected to student leaders and staff on campus! At Eagle Camp, you will have many opportunities to mingle, have fun and relax by participating in the multiple activities available at Eagle Camp. So maybe the question should be, "Why shouldn't I attend Eagle Camp?"

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE CAMPS OR THE OUTDOORS?

Lucky for you, Eagle Camp has such diverse activities that you have many options on the activities you participate in. Eagle Camp is NOT a camping trip-you will be lodging in 5-star cabins at Sky Ranch, which have bunk beds, air conditioning, and clean restrooms-they even have hand dryers!

Also, there are plenty of indoor activities to beat the heat at Eagle Camp if you choose not to spend a lot of time outdoors. Campers can choose to lay out at the pool or lake, grab snacks at the snack shop, play board games, hang out in the indoor recreation center or participate in more extreme activities like sand volleyball, zip lines, canoeing, or water slides!

WHAT IS EARLY CHECK-IN?
Early CHECK-In is a perk of Eagle Camp that allows you to check into your residence hall the morning of Eagle Camp, instead of waiting until everyone else can move in. However, it's not your opportunity to rearrange furniture and decorate walls-it's more of your chance to drop off your stuff in your dorm room and head to the Coliseum to check in for Eagle Camp.

DO I NEED TO BRING EXTRA MONEY?
Yes, it is a good idea to bring some cash if you plan to purchase any snacks from the snack shop or choose to do horseback riding or paintball. All other activities and meals are included in the cost of Eagle Camp.

WHAT DO I BRING TO CAMP?
There is a link called "What to Bring" on the navigation bar to the left. Double check the list once we get closer to Eagle Camp to see if there are any changes.

WHAT DO I NOT BRING TO CAMP?
Any items that are extremely important to you or expensive should probably be left at home. Alcohol, drugs or weapons (including knives) should not be brought to camp and will not be tolerated. We take this issue very seriously, and if you are caught with any of these items, you will be sent home without a refund from camp and referred to the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities.
